This article presents evidence of a cause for addiction that isn't typically validated as being fundamental where we tend to focus on the symptoms of addictions, such as drug abuse and other addictive, compulsive and repetitive behaviors such as are associated with gambling, nail biting, hair twirling, eating, sex, and a slew of other creative expressions rather than focus on a cure.
Metaphysically, it appears that we're inclined to become attracted or attached to whatever gives us immediate gratification when we are subject to limited opportunities to engage with each other and/or with our inherent passions. This precept is rooted in the premise that energy vibration is flowing to achieve balance or wholeness, similar to how water flows to balance when spilled. I believe that fulfillment, gratification, joy, love, etc. are found in the engagements between us. In a manner of speaking, we're the conduits of the love that flows. When we tap into it, what we traditionally call "addictions" tend to drop off by default, another spot where love heals. The healing is the allowing of the flow of love through us, rather than being at the effect of a restricted/resisted flow of love that causes dis-ease. Thanks for the opportunity to look and remember. Namaste,

"This article explains addiction and shines a very important factor lying to and away from addiction. That is obtaining a healthy social structure. We recognize it as a support circle or revaluation of what we choose to be in our surroundings. We need to be social, yes, but we need to know what 'home' is to our selves. 'Home' is a place that reflects all good traits of yourself, reminds you of who you are, and reminds you of all of your potential. HOME drives you places you thought you'd never go independently.' Home for me is the nursing field and the horses. These two places give me simple silent reminders of my essence in its purity. Validation is found here. Extraordinary." ~ Michelle Ellerd

"The root cause of all of these is the illusion of separation. "We are organically one" is the "The Earth is round" of our time..." Facebook thread follows: Tony Praill: The whole world, deep down, realises that nothing is more important than human and social evolution in harmony with our environment. We know that it is crucial that we advance integrated solutions that address the root causes of greed, intolerance, injustice, inequality, distress and conflict, and that we do that through co-operation and co-creation rather than coca-cola! ;-) Tony Praill: Consider a world inspired to fulfil each person's unique potential to liberate mutual completeness in abundant variety. A world with an effortless, entire awareness that our varied needs to flower co-operate to harvest the fruits of truth, harmony, peace and bounteous, beautiful creativity. Now is the time to consider, intend and co-create this magnificent world....this is why we are here! ((( ♥ ))) Joe Simmons: The root cause of all of these is the illusion of separation. "We are organically one" is the "The Earth is round" of our time.
Tony Praill: Idealism is the new reality! ;-) Joe Simmons: Our being one is as much of an ideal as is the Earth being round. We just can't see it because we believe that the illusion of separation must disappear before we can realize our oneness. We can embrace the illusion of separation the same way we can embrace the illusion that a movie is made from individual still frames playing in sequence, which we cannot detect with our human tools for perception. The Earth is round, and we are One, organically. This is absolute - regardless of our ability to recognize it. ♥ Tony Praill: True, though as you say, the recognition is the 'warp- speed' for human evolution. :-) John Halderman: Yes, before any human descriptions and explanations about life, we were One . . . ARE ONE! We allow ourselves to go down the specific rabbit holes loosing sight of our Oneness. :))) Joe Simmons: Tony, the good news is that our thwarting or resisting the realization of our oneness, for however many years we may do it, does not change that our believing that the illusion of separation is true is what makes all strife possible. Name it... starvation, homelessness, poverty, war, greed, intolerance, inequality, distress and conflict are all symptoms of our believing and operating as if we are separate. Knowing that we are One, whenever we act inconsistently to that, we are operating insanely. Hence, we have dis-ease. This is true no matter what we think or no matter how we might rationalize our unwillingness (for whatever reasons) to surrender. Until we do, we will remain in "The Age of Insanity, the time when we, the humans, believe that the illusion of separation is true." The love that comes from realizing our oneness is the cure for all of it. Actually, it's the only cure. Any other study or exploration for answers is futile and foolish, insane. More good news... As more of us entertain Oneness consciousness we are building momentum, like a snowball, to reach a critical mass of awareness. Eventually, we will get it like a light going on in our heads. We will say, "What the? Of course, we are one! What the hell were we thinking?" ♥ John Halderman: agree Joe, seeing our Oneness is the way. When we know our Oneness we stop acting in selfish fearful ways seeking to fill the void created by the perceived separation. We then act in unity seeing how what we do benefits the whole. :) The Facebook Screen Shot... Elynn Diamond submitted, "…here's my question, of course one that does not need an answer... It’s one of those questions that I already know the answer and yet, I feel I want to share with another person in this moment of time, and I am choosing you.....so, my question is: What is it gonna take for everyone to just love one another without any fear or need to shut down!” Hello Elynn, Thank you for sharing yourself. It’s a wonderful opportunity that helps us to look and remember a perspective on what we are doing here in the life. In my opinion, we don't really want complete harmony. If harmony were all we had, it would disappear. You might wonder how we can say this with confidence. The answer is simple. Given that everything is one and all-inclusive, including that we are the creators and created onto thee and ourselves, we intend everything. Therefore, if a thing or experience exists, it's supposed to be there. You might ask still, "Why or how do we perceive disharmony if we are love and if love is all there is?" The answer is that we know how to create reality - spaces of experiences that we conjure with an arsenal of tools that we call illusions. Knowing all things, we are beginning to remember that all things are perceivable by virtue of their comparison to something else. It's the only way. Therefore, we conjure the experience/illusion of disharmony so that we can create a reality where we can feel harmony. The experiences of disharmony are provided by illusions, not by truths. Imagine the illusions are real to the extent that we experience them; however, they are not truths. Being smart, we also know that we can use the experiences/illusions available in the contexts of individuated bodies to intentionally stand distractingly close to the microcosms. The distractions blind us. This is the "how" part. We must stand distractingly close in order to believe there's such a thing as disharmony. Therefore, we conjure the physical domains to keep us close to the distractions, so that we are less readily able to see the big pictures. We see less than ants see while they hustle in the footprints of elephants. We don't see the footprints and we don't know that there are elephants. That's not an accident or a mistake. We design it that way. Everything related to the paths, explorations, endeavors, including our sharing now, are what we want from being tiny. Otherwise, we'd be aware and have neither purpose nor either an impetus to engage. We choose life because it's rich and spicy in the engagements. Eventually, we'll remember that life is most rich and most spicy when we are most vulnerable. That time will mark an end of endless endings and a beginning of endless beginnings. Thank you for the opportunity to look and remember! <3 Lovingly Namaste, Joe Simmons Metaphysical Visionary |
